Morwenna's Half Marathon Raising Money for the Karls Brooks Memorial Fund

On Sunday 30th March I will be taking part in the Brooks 19th Paddock Wood Half Marathon, raising money for the Karl Brooks Memorial Fund.

On 14th June 2007, Karl Brooks was involved in a tragic accident causing his death at just 25 years old while he was training on Lake Mead, Nevada.

Karl is the current European Water Ski Racing Champion and four time British Champion & at the 2005 World Championships he won the Silver Medal. A first class athlete but also one of the nicest people you could ever meet. The number of comments from people on www.skirace.net just shows how many people's lives that Karl touched & how many people are devastated by his loss.

All the money that I raise will go to the Memorial Fund, set up by Karl's family to help provide opportunities for young up & coming water ski racers to learn & develop their skills. If you click onto the links page on the left hand side there are details of the 1st Karl Brooks Memorial Golf Day which took place in January & also how they plan to use the money raised for Karl's Trust.

I would really appreciate any contribution you would like to make towards this cause no matter how much every little helps.

Please use the donate button on the left hand side to see ways you can sponsor me.

Thank you for your support
